Lünen. Max-Arnold Köttgen (51), a qualified lawyer, has been appointed to the Board of REMONDIS with immediate effect. Germany's largest privately run water and environmental service company has, therefore, increased the size of its board of directors from five to six members.
Max-Arnold Köttgen has extensive experience of the branch having worked at a number of firms. Over the last twenty years of his career, he has held various managerial positions at water and environmental service companies. In his last position, Köttgen was managing director of a firm for recycling systems. He will be managing the REMONDIS companies active in the north and east of Germany.
Ludger Rethmann, Board Chairman at REMONDIS, underlined the depth of expertise of his new board colleague. "Max-Arnold Köttgen will be bringing his many years of branch experience to our company. He has worked at, among others, RWE Umwelt which was taken over by REMONDIS in 2004. Thanks to his appointment to the board of our family-run company, we have strengthened our management team so that we can continue to tap market growth potential to the full."
