Every treatment process generates debris, sand, fat and sludge. Furthermore, sewer flushing also creates large quantities of drainage sand. Every one of these materials must be recycled. REMONDIS is market leader in this area, too – we return both the sludge and all of the waste materials to the economic cycle and make sensible use of them. They are used either materially as fertiliser, compost, or earth for agricultural or landscape gardening purposes, or thermally for energy generation.
