The project
Working together with Asian PPG, REMONDIS Aqua is responsible for all aspects of water management at Volkswagen India’s new production plant – this includes the reliable supply of production water of varying qualities as well as every stage of the wastewater treatment process.
The procedure
Urban water is refined into highly pure, demineralized production water using a reverse osmosis facility. REMONDIS Aqua installed a chemical-physical, pre-treatment facility at the plant to pre-treat the highly contaminated wastewater from the paint facility. On-site analyses (cuvette tests) are carried out continuously to monitor and optimize chemical dosing in order to ensure that the facility can be run reliably at all times.
