The project
SECO Tools needs demineralized water at its site in Koregaon Bhima in order to be able to produce its high quality cutting tools. REMONDIS guarantees the supply of such demineralized water. To do so it planned and built an appropriate processing facility which it is now running; the same is true for the modern wastewater treatment facility at the site.
The procedure
REMONDIS Aqua produces the demineralized water from well water. It uses a single-stage reverse osmosis facility that achieves a permeate yield of 70%. The wastewater resulting from the processing of coolants is treated using a chemical-physical process.
