The project
The production process of MAN Truck & Bus AG generates a variety of, in some cases, highly contaminated wastewater – especially in surface refinement and lacquering operations. These have to be treated before being discharged from the plant. When MAN expanded its production, the capacities of the wastewater treatment facilities had to be expanded as well. REMONDIS Aqua convinced the company of its expertise when it presented it with a comprehensive concept for the modernisation, extension and operation of the wastewater treatment facilities.
The procedure
We treat the wastewater, which contains both oil and heavy-metal and lacquer particles, with a variety of technologies, such as modern membrane processes (ultrafiltration) and chemo-physical procedures. In addition, REMONDIS Aqua ensures the smooth functioning of the facilities for producing fully desalinated water and handles the wastewater logistics with its suction vehicles.
