1977 | REMONDIS Aqua launches its activities in water management with the construction of an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Marl. |

1983 | Entry into the public private partnership segment in cooperation with the Lower Saxony local authority of Wesendorf. |

1992 | REMONDIS Aqua assumes responsibility for wastewater treatment in Genthin, treating not only industrial wastewater but also municipal sewage. |

1998 | Stadtwirtschaft Gotha GmbH established. REMONDIS Aqua assumes responsibility for supplying drinking water to 130,000 inhabitants as well as wastewater management in the region. |

2000 | The company Ruhr-Zink in Datteln entrusts REMONDIS Aqua with the treatment of its process wastewater. |

2002 | Bremerhaven entrusts REMONDIS Aqua with the treatment of its sewage REMONDIS Aqua takes on services for EuroCoin. |

2004 | REMONDIS Aqua takes on services for BASF, Deutsche Nickel, Saxonia and Pilkington. |

2005 | Wasserverband Lausitz (water board), the Gemünden am Main municipality and the companies Lorenz Bahlsen Snack-World and MAN put their trust in innovative solutions from REMONDIS Aqua. In addition, the company becomes a partner of one of Germany's most modern sludge incineration plants, VERA in Hamburg. |

2007 | Following on from its successes on the Spanish and Polish water markets, REMONDIS becomes market leader in Turkey with 4 million end customers in a joint venture with Sistem Yapi A/S. |

2008 | Takes on the operation of the drinking water facilities in Adelsdorf, Bavaria. |

2009 | Continued growth abroad with the foundation of REMONDIS Aqua (India) Private Ltd., the foundation of the 1st PPP company in Russia with the City of Arzamas and the business operation model at AkzoNobel’s chemical park in Rotterdam. Further growth on the domestic market with an industrial contracting project with Borgmeier Frischgeflügel. |

2010 | Extension of business activities in Spain with the acquisition of OMS-Sacede S. A. (Barcelona) with over 20 municipal business operation contracts. Contracting model with the Valensina Group. |
