We look after large parts of Europe, and many millions of people benefit from our services.
Through public private partnerships we supply some 18 million cubic metres of top-quality drinking water and professionally treat more than 40 million cubic metres of sewage and wastewater each year in Germany alone, and around 280 million cubic metres in Europe as a whole. For this purpose we operate approximately 60 water treatment facilities. If they were all strung together, the mains and the sewer systems that we manage would stretch from Berlin to New York.
